Bob Geldof Not Performing for Live 8

Geldof, former singer of Boomtown Rats, does not think there is room for him to perform at Live 8.

He stated, "I don’t think I’m going to be playing. Let’s face it – I don’t sell enough records to justify a space on the bill."

The ten Live 8 concerts will be held on July 2.  Some of the artists that will perform are, U2, Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, Madonna, Coldplay, Mariah Carey, Dido, Elton John, Sting, and many others.
