Bono et Sting feront équipe

Plusieurs vedettes vont unir leurs efforts pour lancer un disque pour une bonne cause. Bono et Sting seront de la partie.

Les deux stars feront équipe sur le disque Rogue’s Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs & Chanteys qui sera lancé le 22 août prochain.

L’idée de produire ce disque est venue du cinéaste Gore Verbinski et de l’acteur Johnny Depp lorsqu’ils tournaient le film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.

Le réalisateur explique : « Je suis lentement devenu fasciné par l’idée d’une réinterprétation contemporaine de chansons de la mer. J’imaginais des artistes que j’écoute et que je respecte interpréter ces chansons âgées : les chansons de la mer. »

Ainsi, le disque double de 43 titres fut enregistré à Londres, Dublin, New York, Los Angeles et Seattle.
