Disney Denies the Departure of Orlando Bloom

Management at Disney, and producers of Pirates of the Caribbean, claim that they do not want to get rid of Will, the character played by Orlando Bloom. 

According to diverse British sources, the character played by Bloom did not have as much weight as those played by Keira Knightley and Johnny Depp.

A spokesperson for Disney stated, "we cannot comment on specific plot points, such rumors are completely unfounded."

The first two Pirates of the Caribbean made $1.7 billion dollars for Disney in 2003.  The third movie, At World’s End will be in theatres on May 25, 2007.
