Drake joins the Backstreet Boys in Toronto
Toronto fans of the Backstreet Boys experienced a magical moment last Saturday. Drake, a hometown boy and the world’s biggest hip-hop star joined the boy band on stage.
Introduced as the « sixth member » of the group, Drake appeared on theBudweiser in Toronto to the shrieks of thousands of fans.
Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJMcLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson let the Toronto star sing a special version of their ’90s hit with them I Want It That Way.
« Toronto, I want you to get loud and I want you to sing this song as loud as you can, » Drake said on stage. « This is one of the greatest songs in the history of music. I’m going to be on stage for it, I’m going to try to sing it too. »
The Backstreet Boys were in Toronto as part of their DNA world tour.
Drake is breaking a lot of records right now. The Toronto native’s new album hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 204,000 units last week and placing his 11th album at No. 1 on the North American chart.
