Eddie Murphy to Star in Beverly Hills Cop IV

Paramount has confirmed that the film franchise will be releasing another installment.  The Beverly Hills Cop films, which began in 1984, have earned more than $650 million at the box offices.

The story of the next episode is not yet known, and no release date or filming date has been announced.

Eddie Murphy can now be seen in the musical drama Dreamgirls with Beyonce Knowles.  He will also be working on the romantic comedy Norbit in the beginning of next year.
