Elton John sera bientôt de retour sur disque avec The Captain and the Kid. Ce disque se veut une suite du disque Captain Fantastic and the Dirt Brown Cowboy paru en 1975.
Le chanteur présentera son nouveau matériel au public dès le 6 septembre au Rose Hall de New York. Après ce premier concert, la vedette entamera ensuite une tournée nord-américaine du côté de la Californie.
