10 Million for Montreal Jazz Festival

The five year contract guarantees 10 million dollars for the Jazz Festival.  This is during a period where cultural and sporting events have large difficulties budgeting.

The 26th annual International Jazz Festival will be on this year from June 30 – July 10, 2005.
