According to the former 2 Live Crew singer, Luther Campbell, 50 Cent copied a portion of his song, It’s Your Birthday, from his 1994 solo album, Still a Freak for Life.
Campbell was deposed in front of a Miami court. In 2003, the song In Da Club tops the charts for several weeks.
