50 Cent label feud might delay new album

Rapper goes ahead and releases first single Outlaw.

American rapper 50 Cent – aka Curtis Jackson – is venting his displeasure with Interscope Records about his new album, reportedly titled Black Magic, reports Billboard.

The successful star documented his impatience with his label in a series of posts on Twitter.

“Ok I tried to be cool with my record company. I went to the meeting talk to everyone and sh– feels like there moving in slow motion [sic]," he tweeted yesterday (June 16).  "I’m sorry to announce I will not be releasing a new album this year if we don’t get on the same page."

Today, the rapper Tweeted:  "My whole career iv been doing sh– and they have been playing catch up this is the last f—— album THEY BETTER WAKE UP AND WORK."

Although it’s unclear exactly what the problem is, 50 couldn’t wait and went ahead released his first single.

"I worked really hard on this album I’m not gonna let it come out like some bull—-….Ok f— it I’m putting the first song off my new album tonight."

The 35-year-old hip hop star lived a rags-to-riches life, from dealing to drugs to a platinum-selling debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ in 2003. The performer has since started his own record label, film company, and branched out into acting.
