7 important dates for Donald Trump in January 2024

January is shaping up to be an intense month for Donald Trump… with a busy schedule, as he currently occupies the center of a legal turmoil while emerging as the favorite candidate for the Republican nomination for the 2024 elections.

Here’s a look at some of his busiest days this month!

On January 9, Donald Trump and his legal team will appeal Judge Tanya Chutkan’s ruling on presidential immunity. This ruling had rejected Trump’s motion to dismiss the January 6 case on the grounds of presidential immunity.

On the evening of January 10, the following day, Donald Trump will take part in a Town Hall on Fox News.

On January 11, in New York, closing arguments will take place in the civil fraud trial. Donald Trump faces a $250,000 fine and a five-year ban from participating in commercial activities or commercial real estate transactions in New York State. The decision is expected by the end of the month.

On January 15, the Iowa Republican caucus marks an important political evening for the former president, as he is widely tipped to win the GOP nomination there, leading in the polls.

On January 16, E. Jean Carroll’s defamation trial will take a new turn with the start of a second civil suit.
