After the first Marriott EDITION luxury hotel opened in the Waikiki neighborhood of Honolulu in Hawaii, a new second EDITION Hotel is set to open next month in Istanbul,Turkey.
The second EDITION hotel, an investment project of Turkish company Palmali Holding, was originally supposed to open in December 2009, but several setbacks delayed the date.
The ‘7-star’ Istanbul EDITION is a 78-room luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of the city including a 300 sq m Penthouse Suite overlooking the city.
The hotel is composed entirely of 77 spacious suites, averaging 45 square meters, on 13 floors with prices ranging from $420 a night for a standard room to $550 for a deluxe.
Thirty minutes from the Ataturk Airport and centrally located, the hotel is in close proximity to a bustling city center, an abundance of restaurants and high end shopping, all within minutes from their doorsteps.
Hotel nightlife includes the Cipriani Restaurant, Billionaire Night Club, and The Drawing Room lounge. A 20,000 square foot ESPA Spa is available to pamper guests.
