FemaleFirst reports that the 31-year-old singer twisted his knee while rehearsing for a concert scheduled for Monday (June 16) at London’s Brixton Academy.
According to initial reports, it seems that Martin’s injury is significant. A source revealed, "Chris has been in absolute agony with his knee. He’s had to strap it up and has been hobbling around the place. He doesn’t want to cancel the show so he is going to fight through the pain barrier."
If the Coldplay show goes forward, the band will perform songs from their new album, Viva la Vida Or Death and All His Friends, being released today (June 12).
