A Benefit Concert for AIDS Victims in Africa

Peter Gabriel and Annie Lennox are uniting for a great cause.

The International AIDS Day is on December 1, and will be supported by a concert entitled International 46664 which will be at Ellis Park in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Many artists have already confirmed that they will attend and would like to support the cause. These include: Peter Gabriel, Annie Lennox, Razorlight, Corrine Bailey Rae, Jamelia, Ludacris and the Goo Goo Dolls.

The campaign 46664 refers to the number that Mandela had during his 18-year prison sentence at Robben Island.

Lennox and Gabriel are contributing greatly to the cause. The British singer recorded the single Sing with a chorus from the Treatment Action Campaign, and has released his recent album, Mass of Destruction.

Other musicians will likely be joining the event.
