New Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle will receive a special present for her 49th birthday next month. Orange News reports she will get a $6 million US paycheque.
Susan Boyle shot to fame after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent last year.
Since then she launched her first album, I Dreamed A Dream, which became the best-selling album of 2009 in England. It has now sold more than 8.5 million copies worldwide.
Boyle has reportedly been living on an allowance from producer Simon Cowell. She is about to receive her first paycheque totalling millions of dollars from her worldwide album sales. She will get the cheque on April 1, her 49th birthday.
A source says, "People have thought of Susan as a millionaire for months already because her album was launched in November, but she hasn’t got it yet. Up until now, her management team have made sure she never wanted for anything, but this is her long-awaited payday."
Now that she has money and celebrity, Susan Boyle is looking for love. She admitted during her Britain’s Got Talent audition that she has never kissed someone. She wants to find a partner with whom she can share her life and her success.
