The singer and star of the film Dukes of Hazzard was with her musician boyfriend, John Mayer, when they saw a photograph of Ashlee, and Mayer asked, "How old is this picture of you?"
The eldest of the two sisters insisted to Mayer that the two look completely different. A source told Star magazine that it was apparent that Mayer had hit on a sensitive spot with Jessica.
Several people have recently mentionned that following Ashlee’s cosmetic surgery and changing her hair to blonde, that she looks like Jessica Simpson. Although it is believed that Ashlee has had surgery on her nose, the singer has never officially admitted to it.
Jessica Simpson, however, insists that she is comfortable in her own skin, saying, "I’ve really become comfortable in who I am and in my skin. I feel beautiful whether I am five pounds heavier or five pounds smaller."
Jessica Simpson added that she is a natural brunette, which is why she recently got rid of her blonde hair.
