Kevin Costner could be filming the sequel to one of his most popular films, Bull Durham.
The actor had a series of meetings with director and screenwriter Ron Shelton to discuss the possibility of returning to his role of Crash Davis for the second instalment.
Susan Sarandon was also approached to participate in the project. She would also be returning to her character, Annie Savoy, an avid baseball fan.
The film, which came out in 1988, was nominated for an Oscar the following year in the Best Original Screenplay category. Sarandon won a Golden Globe award for Best Actress. On the set, she met Tim Robbins, who has since been her life partner.
