Designers are setting aside colours such as black, which have been presented at London’s Fashion Week this year. The new colours are much more flamboyant including orange, cherry red and electric pink.
Even designer John Rocha, who is known for his black designs, is proposing more feminine and eccentric colours. At PPQ, the collection has a party feel with silk fabrics and vibrant colours. Jasper Conran is presenting dresses that drape with emerald green and mustard yellow. Finally, Eley Kishimoto is bringing back prints from the 1960s and the models are wearing collegiate jackets with white gloves.
