Originally scheduled for release in September, Morrissey’s new album, Years of Refusal, has been pushed back to early 2009, reports Billboard.com.
A representative for the musician didn’t give any details behind the decision to delay the release. The 12-track disc was produced by Jerry Finn, who also worked on the 2004 album, You Are the Quarry.
Years of Refusal will be Morrissey’s first album since he signed with Polydor last year. His last release was Ringleader of the Tormentors, from 2006.
