According to a Montreal newspaper, Journal de Montreal, Capri Films of Toronto will produce the film next year about the car driver’s life, and death behind the wheel of his Ferrari.
The son of deceased race car driver, Jacques Villeneuve, himself a driver for the Sauber racing team, will make a formal announcement at a press conference next week in Montreal.
Gilles Villeneuve died tragically at the age of 32 on May 8, 1982, during a race in Belgium.
