The singer announced via his Twitter page that his third album, Love King, would be his last solo project. Love King is expected to be released later this year.
The Dream now wants to concentrate on producing, writing and collaborating with other artists on their albums.
Billboard.com also reports that the singer has finished recording three more songs for the deluxe version of his album Love vs. Money, but no release date has been announced for that project.
The Dream is currently in the studio with Mariah Carey working on her album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, which will be released this fall. The first single off the album, Obsessed, was co-written and produced by Carey, The Dream, and Christopher "Tricky" Stewart.
