The actor died on September 14 following a battle with pancreatic cancer. His family and friends will pay their last respects during a special service this weekend in California, reports FemaleFirst.
Swayze’s rep stated, "In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either of the following two organisations – The Patrick Swayze Pancreas Cancer Research Fund or Stand Up to Cancer."
Earlier this month, a public event was held for fans to say goodbye to Swayze. It was held in the town of Lake Lure, North Carolina, where much of the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed.
