A floral Ghost whisper

Enchanted Bloom launched by U.K. perfumer.

Ghost brand has unveiled its latest fragrance, Enchanted Bloom, a fragrant floral bouquet which will be available next month, reports Basenotes.net.

The fruity and floral fragrance leads with top notes of violet leaf, bergamot and cranberry, to heart notes of jasmine, water lily and freesia, while trailing base notes include caviar, peach, amber, and musk.

The long, slim glass bottle, with a curving silhouette echoing the feminine figure, was designed by Rudolf Franz Lehnert. The perfume will be available as Eau de Toilette in bottles of 30, 50 and 75 ml.

The Ghost perfume collection is the creation of designer Tanya Sarne. A former model, Sarne founded the British fashion house Ghost with designer Katharine Hamnett in 1984. Ghost designs and popularity grew steadily over the next ten years to include a London shop (opened in 1994), and what is now the flagship store (opened in 1997 along with the debut of the G2 collection). Eventually boutiques opened in Amsterdam, Los Angeles, and Paris, and the company’s product line expanded.

The original Ghost Perfume was released in 1999 to a welcome market. Women at the time seemed to be tired of the heavy floral scents that were abundant at the time, and Ghost offered a new, refreshing change with its light and citrus aroma – perfect for daytime.

In the last decade, several new Ghost fragrances were released, and more recently, Sarne’s company has expanded into the world of men’s fragrances.
