The members of the band offered $1.5 million to the British charity, which comes to the aid of children in need, reports the Orange County Review.
Coldplay decided to help the organisation after visiting various centres around the country sponsored by Kids Company. The band members will also be giving music lessons to children on behalf of the charity.
