A Japanese fan goes gaga

A concertgoer jumps up on stage during a Lady Gaga show in Yokohama.

A Lady Gaga concert in Japan last Saturday night (April 17) was interrupted for a few minutes when a fan got up on stage. Orange News reports the fan jumped over a security barrier.

Gaga was performing at JPN Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan as part of her Monster Ball world tour. She was in the middle of the hit song Bad Romance when a concertgoer got by security and placed himself in front of her on the stage.

The admirer knelt in a prayer position in front of Lady Gaga. She did not stick around. She high tailed it to the other side of the stage while a few of her dancers dragged the fan off.

Ever the consummate professional, Lady Gaga carried on with the show as if nothing had happened.

Lady Gaga recently added more concert dates to her Monster Ball tour in response to the overwhelming demand.

One of the lucky cities that get to see Gaga twice is Edmonton. A second show was added on August 27 to follow the originally scheduled show planned for August 26.

Lady Gaga is also performing two consecutive evenings in Toronto, July 11 and 12, as well as two nights in Vancouver, August 23 and 24, before heading to Edmonton.

The singer has only announced one date so far for Montreal, the city where she will kick off her North American summer tour on June 28.
