Cosmetics giant, Ronald Perelman, is suing his ex-wife, Ellen Barkin, and her brother George Barkin, for trying to get money out of a company that they craeted together in 2005.
According to the papers submitted in court in Manhatten, Barkin used the company’s money for her own personal use. The documents state that they decided they would create their own production company Applehead II earlier this year, and used Applehead I to finance it.
Perelman’s rep stated, "We were initially disappointed at Ms. Barkin’s attempts to further enrich herself after the divorce. We are further disappointed to learn of her additional actions to further enrich herself, her family and friends."
