Shaniqua Tompkins has accused 50 Cent of burning down his own Long Island home, where Tompkins was living with 50 Cent’s 11-year-old son, Marquise. Now the 32-year-old rapper plans to sue Tompkins for defamation.
Brett Kimmel, 50 Cent’s lawyer, said, "There comes a point where you can no longer sit on your hands and listen to her spread these falsehoods."
The attorney also believes that such statements from Tompkins will only hurt their child. Since the fire, 50 Cent has not been able to see his son. Kimmel added, "The only way [50] can communicate with his son is to call [Tompkins’] cell phone."
