According to Variety, Jackson has signed a long-term deal with Marvel Entertainment to play Nick Fury in several films.
After revealing how dissatisfied he was with his character, we now learn that the star will return to the role. In addition to starring in Iron Man 2, Jackson will also be part of the cast for 9 other films, including Captain America, Thor, The Avengers and The Shield.
Nick Fury is the director of an international spy organisation called S.H.I.E.L.D. The organisation’s goal is to protect the freedom of the citizens of the world. This character is present in several other stories.
Iron Man 2 will be released in theatres in 2010. We can next see Samuel L. Jackson in the film Inglorious Basterds, opening on August 21.
