According to Billboard, the new CD will be available on the Epic label in February. The group will soon be giving fans a taste of their fourth album on the internet, with the release of their song Keep Your Hands Off My Girl.
The band will also embark on a 21-date tour, which begins on September 27 in San Francisco. Singer Joel Madden said of the disc, "It sounds like Good Charlotte. It sounds older. We sound more comfortable." Madden added that the album follows the path of 2004’s The Chronicles of Life and Death, which was more ambitious and experimental.
Madden, who is dating actress Hilary Duff, added, "I think it’s definitely in line with that. "We definitely took a lot more steps forward. We went way left, though; it sounds way different. It’s melodic."
For the band’s upcoming concerts, they plan on playing both old and new songs. Their tour will be important to help promote Good Morning Revival for its release next year.
