Later this year, Jerry Lee Lewis will release his first country album since the 70s. According to Billboard.com, the disc will feature several songs written by Kris Kirstofferson.
The album’s first single, Mean Old Man, has been available for downloading since Tuesday (August 25).
Lewis released his last musical project in 2006. It was a duets album called Last Man Standing.
The 74-year-old singer is planning a tour this fall, and will visit Brazil, Las Vegas and Europe. While promoting his new music, he will surely play his classics, including Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On and Great Balls of Fire.
