According to various American sources, Jackson and the rapper are working on the Thriller singer’s next album. The CD should be ready by the end of 2007, and will be released on Two Seas Records.
Will.i.am explained that the two stars did, "a lot of talking on the phone, a lot of brainstorming." During their conversations, the two artists were trying to find the best way for Jackson to use the latest technologies in music.
The new musical direction taken by Jackson will be a suprise. Will.i.am added, "He still sings like a bird. He could go anywhere. I think we have a real opportunity to do something here."
It is also believed that Akon and Chris Brown will also be working with Jackson on the new record. Michael Jackson’s last album, Invincible, was released in 2001.
