The Rare Earth Pore Minimizing collection from Kiehl’s is designed for combination skin, reports Vogue, and is created from Amazonian white clay.
This clay is called "Earth Magic" by the Brazilian Indians. It has been used for years to protect the skin from imperfections, as well as having medicinal effects on insect bites and snake venom.
The new products combine the white clay with Kaolin and Bentonite, resulting in products that reduce the appearance of pores and give skin a matte finish for up to eight hours.
The collection also offers an exfoliating and detoxifying cream, Rare Earth Pore Refining Tonic. Earth Pore Minimizing Lotion minimizes the expansion of pores and refines the skin texture. Lastly, the Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask reduces pores while removing toxins from the face.
