A New Contract for Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney has ended his long-time association with Capital Records.

According to Fox News, McCartney has decided to leave the record label after a relationship that has lasted more than 40 years.  The former Beatle has signed a new contract with the coffee house Starbucks.

McCartney has officially left Capitol Records, taking his entire catalog of solo albums with him, including Chaos and Creation in the Back Yard, which was nominated for a Grammy in 2006.

The singer will become the first artist on the new Starbucks label.  This fall, McCartney, 64, will be releasing his next CD.
