A new Maybelline ambassador

Maybelline New York calls on Lisalla Montenegro to be its new ambassador.

Maybelline New York Cosmetics announced that its new face will be 21-year old Brazilian model Lisalla Montenegro, CNW reports.

Montenegro joins a bevy of spokesmodel beauties who are already ambassadors for the brand, including Christy Turlington, Julia Stegner, Erin Wasson, Kemp Muhl and Emily DiDonato.

The model began her career after participating in a competition to become Miss Goiás in her hometown in Brazil. She then headed to the United States to launch her career. She has already modeled for several big names in the fashion industry, including Hermes, Michael Kors, Armani Exchange and many others.

She has appeared in major magazines like Vogue, Glamour, GQ, Nylon and CosmoGIRL, and worked with some of the best known photographers in the business.

The young model is very excited and impatient to begin her new role as a Maybelline spokesmodel.

The world president of Maybelline New York, Cyril Chapuy, described Montenegro as a unique beauty. He even says she is one of the nicest and most determined women that he has ever met. He describes her beauty as fresh and natural, while being slightly feline.

Lisalla Montenegro begins her new job as a Maybelline spokesmodel this month.
