A New Production for Robert De Niro

De Niro and his Tribeca partner, Jane Rosenthal, have teamed with Universal Studios to produce the film about communism, Mao-Tse Toung, and China. 

 The film will be based on the story by Roy Rowan.  He was one of the only journalist with first-hand experience of the events taking place in China during the 1949 revolution.

There is currently no date for the beginning of filming of the project.
