A New R. Kelly Disc on the Way

R. Kelly’s next album doesn’t have a name.

The singer announced that his next release, which hits stores on December 1, will be called Untitled.

The album will be Kelly’s first release since 2007’s Double Up.  Unlike his other albums, which were recorded in his hometown of Chicago, Kelly chose to break tradition and put Untitled together in Atlanta.

The singer also worked with some new talents, like Lil Ronnie, Infinity and Chris Henderson, to give his album a youthful appeal.  To test his new material, Kelly organised parties every weekend for the past three months.  He told Rolling Stone, "Like 200 girls come over, and there’s some guys too, like four or five, but no pictures, so we can all be ourselves. Then I’d play the music and see how they would react… if they didn’t feel it, I’d go back downstairs and rework it…”
