According to Variety, Ben Stiller will star opposite Reese Witherspoon in a romantic comedy to be directed by Cameron Crowe (Almost Famous, Jerry Maguire).
Crowe also wrote the screenplay for the yet-untitled film, and will produce the project with Scott Rudin (No Country for Old Men). Columbia Pictures will be in charge of distribution.
Details about the movie have not been revealed, although filming is set to begin in January.
Ben Stiller is currently in Vancouver filming Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian. On August 15, his next film, Tropic Thunder, also starring Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr., opens in theatres.
