A New Scent from Martin Margiela

Martin Margiela is introducing their first perfume.

The design house will be introducing their first fragrance on January 25, and the scent will be sold exclusively at Colette boutiques, reports Vogue.

Called (untitled), the scent will be sold in a bottle that was designed by Fabien Baron.  Described as instinctive and feminine, the fragrance features notes of galbanum, green boxwood, mastic, incense and sour orange.  There are also hints of jasmine, cedar and musk.

Last December, Martin Margiela, the Belgian designer, announced his departure from the fashion house that bears his name.  His face is known to only a few people, giving the designer an air of mystery.

The new Martin Margiela fragrance will be sold in department stores in March, and will then head to perfume shop shelves starting April 15.
