A new therapy for premature ejaculation

The first drug to combat premature ejaculation appears on the market.

In the United Kingdom, there’s now a pill on the market called Priligy that helps prevent premature ejaculation.

This expensive med ($116.35 for three 30 mg pills) should be taken one to three hours before sexual intercourse for maximum effectiveness. It is only sold by prescription on the Internet and is aimed at men 18-64 years old.

It is actually an antidepressant, but it is the only one that has an impact on premature ejaculation. No alcohol should be consumed while taking Priligy.

The pill is also available in Sweden and Finland. The company website indicates that other countries will soon follow suit, including the United States and Canada. However, no specific date is given as to when it will be on the North American market.

Men who suffer from premature ejaculation are recommended to consult their doctor. There are many options to help, including therapy,  specially designed condoms, creams, etc.
