It seems that 20th Century Fox is ready to get another Planet of the Apes film in motion.
The studio owns a script entitled Genesis: Apes, a remake of the Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. The story follows Caesar, an intelligent primate adopted by a scientist, who leads his people to dominate the planet.
Nothing has been said about when the film begins shooting nor have any further production details been revealed. However, all indications lead to the notion that the project will be made soon.
The last Planet of the Apes film, starring Mark Wahlberg in 2001, earned 350 million dollars at the box office.
