Fielder-Civil’s mother told News of the World that her son will be avoiding contact with Amy Winehouse, and that he is ready to grab half her fortune after going through with their divorce.
To do this, the young man is set to show up in court with love letters his wife wrote him during their happy days, promising him the moon.
Fielder-Civil is looking at being paid half of the British star’s income, which is estimated at around $15 million.
A spokesperson for Winehouse refused to comment on the subject. Meanwhile, his client is basking in the Caribbean sun in St. Lucia.
