A Remake in Science-Fiction

Director Roland Emmerich will be doing a remake of a 1966 science-fiction movie, Fantastic Voyage.

This movie shows a scientist on a space shuttle, and his only means of survival, are by shrinking his colleagues, and injecting them into his veins.

The movie, by New Line Cinema, will be written by Marianne and Cormac Wibberley (National Treasure).

The original version was directed by Richard Fleischer, and was starring Raquel Welch and Donald Pleasence.

Emmerich recently finished producing the movie 10 000 B.C., which will be in theatres on March 7.
