A Sequel for The Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code is working on a sequel.

According to IMDB, a follow-up for The Da Vinci Code, will be made.  Screenplay writer, Akiva Goldsman, adapted the novel written by author Dan Brown, for the silver screen.  Goldsman was paid $3.8 million to write the screenplay for this sequel.

The sequel will be based on the book Angels and Demons.  In the first film, the cryptographer, Robert Langdon, played by Tom Hanks, helps a woman find the link between her father’s death and secret conspiracies.  The sequel will be in theatres in 2008.
