A Special Concert for Princess Diana

The sons of Princess Diana, Prince William and Prince Harry, have announced the details for a special event to mark the tenth anniversary of their mother’s death.

A concert will be presented on July 1 at London’s Wembley Stadium.  Today, the Princess would be 46.

Sir Elton John, Duran Duran, Joss Stone, Bryan Ferry and hip-hop star Pharrell Williams will all take part in the show.

At a press conference, Prince William explained, "We both wanted to put our stamp on it. We want it to represent exactly what our mother would have wanted."

To reflect Diana’s love of dance and music, the English National Ballet will also perform to the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber.
