The Panic Room star admitted to being in a lesbian relationship with the producer for the first time last December at an award ceremony. At that time, Foster stated, "I would like to thank my beautiful Cydney who sticks with me through all the rotten and the bliss."
The reason for the break up has not been revealed. Foster and Bernard have two children, Charlie, 9, and Kit, 6.
