A Surprise Performance by Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez recently sang for some of her young autistic fans.

Jennifer Lopez performed for the first time since the birth of her twins, Max and Emme, reports UsMagazine.com. The star sang for students at a primary school.

The new 38-year-old mother sang Let’s Get Loud for a group of 10 students aged 10 to 11, during their graduation ceremony Tuesday (June 17).

The students at PS 37, a school for autistic children located in Staten Island, New York, were obsessed with Lopez’s song after their teacher showed them the video. Kathy Amati, their teacher, told a local newspaper that the students wanted to watch the video every day and that they had even learned the lyrics and dance moves.

They wrote letters to the singer to get her autograph and hoped that she would sing at their graduation, an invitation that J. Lo accepted with pleasure.
