Ten years after the death of the Italian designer, a ballet will held this July. Bejart will dedicate a special performance to Versace at the Scala in Milan.
Gianni Versace was murdered on July 15, 1997 at the age of 51. He was killed by a 27 year-old homosexual man in Miami.
Exactly ten years after his death, the special performance called "Grazi Gianni" will take place. Milan is also currently looking for the appropriate road to be named for the designer.
Following his death, Versace’s sister, Donatella Versace, became the director of the company.
