A tribute to Karl Tremblay at the Junos by Alexandra Stréliski

Since Karl Tremblay’s death last November, many artists have paid tribute to the singer in a variety of ways.

Now it’s the turn of Alexandra Stréliski and the Junos to honor the late leader of the Cowboys Fringants band.

The pianist will perform a tribute to Karl Tremblay at this year’s Juno Awards Gala, to be held at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Sunday March 24.

It’s sure to be an emotional moment… for Karl’s siblings, band and fans alike.

Les Cowboys Fringants are also nominated for a Juno in the Francophone Album of the Year category for their album En concert avec l’Orchestre symphonique de Montréal.

Alexandra Stréliski is also nominated, in two categories: Album of the Year and Instrumental Album of the Year, both for Néo-romance.

Charlotte Cardin garners the most nominations, with a total of six, including Artist of the Year, Single of the Year and Pop Album of the Year.

See you at the Junos on March 24, 2024, when the ceremony will be broadcast on CBC.
