A Very Lucrative Contract for U2

The contract between the company Live Nation and U2 will mean big bucks for the group.

The group U2 could be collecting a huge amount of cash, thanks to a freshly inked deal with the company Live Nation, reports NME.com.

The band endorsed a contract for 12 years with management at Live Nation, which gives them 1.56 million shares, estimated at around $19 million US.

The contract gives the company rights over revenues from tours, merchandise and the Web site. Live Nation will practically manage U2’s entire career, however the group will continue to make albums for the record company Universal Music.
