A Victory for Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson has just won a legal battle about his private life.

Arvell Jett Reeves was the owner of a company specialized in plane maintenance. In 2003, he would have installed hidden cameras in the private jet of pop singer Michael Jackson, in order to spy on the star’s every moves as he was travelling to Santa Barbara. He was to be arrested for child molesting.

Apart from the hidden cameras, Reeves and his associate, Jeffrey Borer, would have installed, in the plane, microphones bought in a spy shop. They wished to sell their illegal material to televised networks, hoping to make big profits.

Reeves was sentenced to 8 months in jail, followed by 6 months in a reformatory prison. Borer will appear before the court in October 2006.

In 2005, Jackson was found not guilty of the charges pressed against him – he was suspected to have molested a young 13-year old boy, giving him alcohol to then sexually abuse him.
