Police has decided to file charges against the R&B singer. It all began with a video shown on YouTube, which shows Akon challenging the crowd. The incident resulted in a brain concussion for a 15 year-old girl who attended the show.
The 34 year-old singer is expected to be in court on Monday (December 3), where he is accused of endangering the security of a minor and second-degree harassment.
During the concert last June, Akon bumped someone from the audience who then fell into the crowd. A scuffle then followed in the area where Abby Rosa was standing, resulting in her injury.
A spokesperson for Akon refused to comment on the charges.
